Welcome to A2Z Evaluations

A2Z Evaluations, LLC can open the doors to a wide variety of careers in the United States of America by determining the U.S. equivalency of the education you obtained outside of the United States. A2Z Evaluations, LLC can qualify you for admission to high school, college or university; for employment; for immigration; and for professional licensure in the United States.

Evaluations fall into one of two broad categories: formative and summative. Formative evaluations are conducted during program development and implementation and are useful if you want direction on how to best achieve your goals or improve your program. Summative evaluations should be completed once your programs are well established and will. These libraries' sample documents may be used as examples for developing staff evaluations at your library. If you are ready to graduate, transfer to a UC or CSU, or need to substitute or waive a major requirement, the Evaluations Office is here to assist you.

graduation or certification through
March 1st, 2021.

Evaluation Office Services

Evaluations
  • If you have completed the requirements for your degree or certificate - or will be completing them during the current semester - you may be ready to petition for graduation. The 'Apply for Degree/Certificate' page hasmore information, the online petition form and deadlines for each semester.

  • If you will be transferring to a CSU or UC school in the future, you may need a GEBR or IGETC certification. If this is your only declared goal at Southwestern College, please check with the financial aid office for eligibility requirements.

    The GEBR/IGETC Certification page has more information, the online petition form and deadlines for submission.

  • The Student Petitions page has petitions to substitute a requirement for your major, to waive a requirement of your major, waive a graduation requirement (such as Computer Literacy, Health Education or Exercise Science) or to receive AP or IB credit.

  • The Transfer of Credit page has more information on the evaluation of transcripts from schools other than Southwestern College.

  • The Diplomas and Certificates page for information on getting your recently awarded diploma or certificate or requesting a replacement for one that may have been lost or destroyed.

Hours of Operation

The Evaluations Office is located in the Cesar Chavez Student Services Building, First Floor. We are currently closed for COVID-19 spatial distancing, but we are available in email at evaluations@swccd.edu.
